Together, they are furthering InfoBionic’s mission: to play a pivotal role in transforming the efficiency and economics of ambulatory remote patient monitoring processes by empowering physicians with direct control over the data they need to detect, diagnosis, and manage patients with chronic diseases.
President, CEO & Co-Founder
Nancy is an experienced medical technology entrepreneur with over 30 years in the industry. She has held management positions at five prior med-tech startups, four of which resulted in a liquidity event. She was awarded the Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Emerging Companies in 2003, the NH Biotech Council “Spirit Award” in 2009 and the “Leadership & Inspiration: Award from Women Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology in 2010.
Nancy currently serves on the Boards of CardiAQ Valve Technologies and InfoBionic, and was formerly on the Boards of MDMA (Medical Device and Manufacturers Association) and Apama Medical. An entrepreneur inventor, Nancy is listed on seven issued and two pending US patents. Nancy has an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Golden Gate University and a BA and BSB from Emporia University.
Executive Vice President, Reimbursement
Philip Leone is a healthcare executive with over 23 years of experience exclusively with start-up organizations. His experience includes general management, operations, sales and reimbursement. He has developed strategies to include obtaining coverage and securing payment for new technologies and services from CMS and third party payors. Additionally he successfully navigated a medical device through the awarding of a CPT Code. Most recently Philip started with InfoBionic as Executive Vice President of Reimbursement, Compliance & Services.
Prior to InfoBionic, Philip founded a healthcare consulting company specializing in reimbursement, health economics and compliance. Preceding consulting, Philip held numerous executive positions at CardioNet, culminating as the Senior Vice President of Reimbursement Services & Compliance and a Corporate Officer in 2011. Philip’s prior experience also includes positions in executive management, sales, and operations within Legend Healthcare where he was one of their initial hires and concluded as President & COO. Philip received his undergraduate degree from Western New England College in Springfield, MA and was a Board Member of Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) from 2000 to 2002.
Vice President, Quality and Regulatory Assurance
Bill has more than 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. His extensive experience is in new product development and regulatory and quality affairs for clearance and distribution in the U.S., European Union, Canada and a number of other foreign markets. His expertise includes detailed product development process execution, regulatory strategy implementation and compliance and quality design control process adherence. Prior to InfoBionic, Bill served as Vice President of R&D for AgaMatrix, Inc., where he was responsible for the design and development of state of the art blood glucose meters. As Vice President of Regulatory, Quality and Clinical, he was responsible for the worldwide clearance of the blood glucose meters and fully integrated mobile health manager applications. As Vice President of R&D, Regulatory and Quality for Eleme Medical, Inc., Bill was responsible for new product development, regulatory and quality compliance for aesthetic diode laser systems for dermatology and plastic surgery.
Bill spent 20 years at Candela Corporation where he held a number of executive level positions. As Senior Vice President of Operations, he was responsible for the new product development, regulatory and quality compliance and manufacture of a variety of aesthetic laser systems. Bill holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lowell and an M.B.A. from Boston University.
Anna McNamara, RN
Executive Vice President, Global Clinical Operations
Anna has over 30 years of experience in multiple areas of outpatient cardiac monitoring. Her experience includes monitoring center operations, program development for outpatient monitoring services, R&D, and clinical research. Most recently Anna held the position of Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations and Research at CardioNet where she built the clinical operations department for a new wireless technology. This included developing and managing the clinical service, creating the clinical research strategy, training and support for sales and marketing, working with R&D on technology and software development and managing the Medical Advisory Board. Currently at her third start up, Anna works closely with the InfoBionic team on all areas of clinical program development.
Prior to CardioNet, Anna held numerous executive positions including Executive Vice President, Clinical Operations at LifeWatch, Vice President, Clinical Operations at QDS/Matria Healthcare, and various positions at Survival Technology. Anna received her RN from Mercy Hospital and her BA in Business Management from Marymount College in NYC.
Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Chris brings over 20 years of sales and sales management experience, including 11 years of extensive experience in the remote patient monitoring industry. Most recently, Chris was the Director of US Sales for the Remote Patient Monitoring Division at Philips Healthcare where he launched the wireless event monitoring service, CardioCare, in 2010. At InfoBionic, he will launch the innovative MoMe platform and device solutions to the physician and hospital marketplace.
Prior to Philips Healthcare, Chris held various sales roles at CardioNet culminating in Senior Vice President Sales. Significant achievements included hiring over 80 sales representatives, acquiring synergistic businesses, and delivering significant market share gains. Chris received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Lynn University.
Chief Innovation Officer
Bill brings more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise-wide IT for public and private companies in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, contract research organizations, entertainment, private equity, and telecommunications. Recently named to the Top 100 Social CIOs on Twitter, Swavely has also been a successful entrepreneur for start-ups and turn-around companies. At InfoBionic Bill will lead technology architecture, IT Governance, HIPAA security, and EMR Integration with our customers.
Prior to InfoBionic, Bill served as CIO for BioTelemetry/CardioNet Inc., CTO for Blue Cross of Northeastern PA, CIO at VIASYS Healthcare Inc., as well as CTO and Co-Founder at Enable Business Solutions LLC. Bill received his BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University, and his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Steven R. Wasserman
Chief Financial Officer
Steve is an experienced small company financial executive with more than 30 years of experience managing corporate finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, legal, and human resources. He has worked in both public and private corporations and has significant Wall Street experience raising equity capital, raising debt capital, transacting mergers and acquisitions, and managing relationships with investors, investment bankers, rating agencies, and commercial banks. Steve previously served as CFO for five other technology-focused companies including AppNeta, Inc.; Memento, Inc.; Constant Contact, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTCT); Med-i-Bank Inc.; and ON Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:ONTC).
Steve is an Adjunct Instructor at Bentley University. He has a BBA degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA degree from Babson College.
